British Growers looking to appoint General Manager
Established in 1969, British Growers Association Ltd provides leadership, promotion, representation, co-ordination, and support services to British fresh produce growers, their marketing organisations and specialist crop associations. Due to the recent departure of our CEO we are now seeking to employ a General Manager to lead and manage the organisation, and its market research subsidiary Market Intelligence Services Ltd; and maintain a high profile representative role for the organisation and the industry it serves.
The role requires:
• Proven ability of successful sales and marketing in a competitive market place
• Leadership, motivational, networking and communication skills
• Understanding of the key issues/drivers affecting the fresh produce/horticultural industry
The successful candidate will be self-confident, assertive, capable of big-picture thinking, able to influence and shape the industry, and inspire confidence in the organisation.
